In a nutshell we design "extraordinary tailor-made holidays to South
Africa."
We advise clients on combining popular sights with their special
interests so as to make the most of their time in South Africa. The
holidays often combine guided tours with self drive. These tours
vary from a few hours to several days. The longer tours are
special interest tours led by experts in their field (birding, canoeing,
game safaris, elephant safaris etc.).
We advise on accommodation and use a select range of hotels, lodges,
guest houses and B&Bs. A few accommodations are on the website, you need
a password to access the rest of the range.
How we do it
24-8 Cybertravel is an online travel site designed so you could
tailor-make your own holiday, online (see
how to book).
Well, almost. The detailed information you submit helps us prepare for
our discussion with you.
Why we do it
- A great holiday for one person may be another's worst nightmare.
- We believe there is more to a holiday than good accommodation and for
this reason have a comprehensive activity section. These activities are
integrated into the itinerary – so you know what activities to do at
each destination, when you can do them and how to get there. In effect
you are getting 2 itineraries, one for accommodation and one for
activities.
- To help you make the most of your time in South Africa. With a comprehensive holiday
itinerary, you don't waste time on your holiday deciding what to do and
how to get there.
Why us?
If you want to plan and book your holiday on your own there are
excellent sites that have detailed information on lots of
accommodation (thousands) and if you spend time on the web you will eventually
determine what activities are offered and who the operators are.
BUT
If you don’t have the time or desire to:
- email accommodation establishments to check availability
- give everyone your credit card details
- check which activity operators are still in business
- check who the reputable ones are
THEN
24-8cybertravel is the way to go.
We may be more expensive but then we are saving you time, providing you with some peace of mind and
advising you as and when required.
We have tried to keep the site simple with a small, varied selection of
3/4/5 star accommodation, not a mind boggling array. This gives us an
indication of the type of accommodation you want so we can advise
accordingly. As the accommodation recommended by us has been
carefully selected (taking much time and effort) only clients have
access the entire accommodation section.
The activities selected are the best the area has to offer and we use
companies that obviously know their stuff but also go the extra mile.
Lastly as we are based in South Africa we:
- keep abreast of new developments in the tourism industry,
- visit the accommodation we recommend and the operators we use,
- keep an eye on safety issues likely to affect you and
- also offer support while you are in the country.
